Hopes not totally lost.

I have always thought that the vast amount of people are rude and conceited. However I was on a bus the other day and it was packed. Sitting in a two seater with my boyfriend we watched as the people piled on. However this elderly woman came on and without no hesitation we offered out seats. At the next stop another couple of elderly people boarded and it was a shock to see the people who stood up; mothers who were struggling to cope with their own children, students who were struggling with a heap of books, and they didn't mind as long as the old and the crippled could sit down. The people who didn't give two shits were the arrogant people of my generation who are more interested than if their vans were perfect than if an old or crippled person were at ease. However hope is not totally lost as there are people who actually want to help the community and most importantly, help others.
