My Generation.

When did men start getting fake tan? I have the answer to my own question, and that is my generation.
In every generation they had a revolutionary band, a set fashion, men were men, something that shook everything up. My generation however consists of boys trying to be those dim witted idiots on the ITV2 program 'The Only Way Is Essex' and girls dressing like the 80's chew them up and spat them out. The only men who got fake tans before these times were gays and stuck up bosses. The music of my generation consists of wishy-washy pop music that has no relevance to modern day society. I mean Britney Spears is now a wash up and Bruno Mars is a crack head. My generation has nothing like The Kinks, The Jam or The Sex Pistols. I hate my generation. Men now wear those vests that show that they are 'hench', if you ask me they look like closet gays. Girls just look the same, like a box of eggs.
Can't someone just come along and shake things up a bit? And I also have an answer to that. No. Because everyone is to afraid to say what they want or express themselves because they are to afraid of what people think. However hope is not totally lost, some people I know do exactly what most people don't do and I have the most respect for them. They don't wear topshop tack and vans.
My generation is been explained as the 'Social Network Generation' this is probably the reason were all so up ourselves and nosy. If you asked me if I had Facebook I would say yes, but purely for keeping in contact with long lost friends, not wanting to see pictures of slags dressing horribly and looking ridiculously drunk, probably knowing that they are faking it so they don't feel so bad when they make themselves look as cheap as they dress.
Knowing I won't have any inspirational stories to tell my children like my dad tells me. I decide to live life for me and enjoying every moment I can. This is when you make stories. You can't class a story of a random guy humping your leg in a club as inspirational. You can class laughs at a pub, festivals and with people who actually like you as material for inspirational stories and things my children will use to base their adolescence on, just like I have with my dads stories.
